The Nazira santury lies in Sakoli range of Bhandara forest Division, extending over 136,14 sq.km. The forest of Nagzira have the advantage of two perennial tanks, both being ideal habitat for wield life. The tanks not only guarantee a source of water, but they also heighten than beauty of the landscape.

What to See

The animal commnoly seen in the santuary are the tiger, panther, bison, sambar, antelope, blue-bull, chital, barking deer and mouse deer. The birds are plenty and colourfull.

This is situate in the Arjuni Morgaon taluka. In the nearby hilly region is the old fort of Pratapgad. There is a Mahadev temple here. At the time of Mahashivaratri, a big fair is held at this place.
