Introduction

Dhote Bandhu Science College  was started as faculty of N. M. D. College, Gondia by Gondia Education Society in the year 1963 due to generous donation of late Shimanth Kashiram Kisanji alias Bhaiya Saheb Dhote. The credit to start the college also goes to the vision of the great Philanthropist and the founder president of the Gondia Education Society late Mr. Manohar Bhai Patel.

The college was separated and come into existence as an independent college in the year 1969. It was a magnificent three storied building  with sufficient number of class rooms, spacious and well equipped laboratories, play ground, etc., It has a rich library  with attached reading room where large number of news papers and educational social, sports and academic journals are subscribed.

The College provides education in all most all science subject at under graduate level . This year  the the college hopes to start post graduate curses if permitted by State Govt.  and Nagpur University.
