Gondia district is far
away from the sea, that is why the climate of the district is generally
hot and dry. The temperature in the hilly regions is a little low. They
also receive heavy rainfalls. Rainfall increases as we go from west to
east. It rains heavily in Gondia, Salekasa, Deori and Sadak Arjuni
